Christen Harper Was an Angel During Her SI Swim Photoshoot in Dominica

Three-time SI Swimsuit model Christen Harper is on a roll. The ’21 Swim Search open casting call co-winner was named 2022 co-Rookie of the year (alongside Katie Austin) after her breathtaking feature in Barbados with photographer Ben Watts last year. The Southern California native, who spends part of the year in Detroit cheering on her fiancé, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, launched a swimwear collection that she designed with B Swim earlier this year.

She had the “surreal” opportunity of a lifetime to wear one of her own pieces while on location in Dominica with Amanda Pratt for this year’s magazine. The Women of the League reality star is also the cofounder of Planted, a wellness app that focuses on creating a holistic approach to healthy and sustainable living.

“The location was stunning. I had never even heard of Dominica [before my photoshoot]. It was just so jungly and green and lush and beautiful. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been,” the 30-year-old told SI Swimsuit. “And we got to go under a waterfall which was really cool. It kind of made the whole shoot a little more moody. Every year has its own magic that keeps it exciting and fresh.”
